Michelle A. McHale is managing partner at the law firm of Wacks & McHale PC. She concentrates her practice in injury cases, real estate matters, title litigation and accident litigation. She also handles wills, probates and estates and disputes arising from them. Michelle has more than fourteen years’ experience handling personal injury matters.  She has successfully litigated and resolved complex auto accident cases, dog bites, slip and fall cases and other personal injuries.  Her work as a personal injury claim adjuster for a major insurance company, as a law student, taught her the tricks of the trade so she can most effectively handle your case.  As an attorney she worked as both insurance defense counsel and personal injury plaintiff’s attorney.   

Michelle also learned complex title issues as a title researcher in the Essex, Middlesex, & Suffolk Registries of Deeds and since 1994 has worked in private practice concentrating on civil litigation, insurance disputes and defense, and real estate litigation. In 2001 she joined the Law Office of Kenneth D. Wacks (now Wacks & McHale PC) to focus her practice in the area of title disputes and real estate litigation, representing individuals, lenders and title insurers in title and probate matters from the simple to most complex.

Licensed to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Michelle has tried cases in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and U.S. Bankruptcy Court. She has also argued before the Massachusetts Appeals Court. She has chaired, co-chaired and been a faculty panelist for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education seminars, including - Resolving Common and Complex Title Issues and Curing Clouds on Title. As a former member of the Education Committee for the Real Estate Bar Association in Massachusetts (REBA) Michelle served as moderator on numerous panels for REBA seminars. She is a member of the American Land Title Association and New England Land Title Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and New Hampshire Bar-Real Property Section.

She earned her B.A. degree with honors from Salve Regina College and received her J.D. from New England School of Law in Boston.

Currently as managing partner in the firm, Michelle handles real estate matters of all nature and civil litigation. She emphasizes the importance of teamwork and collaboration with her client - working as a team to maximize results and positive outcomes.
